Customer raised a concern about database not getting updated properly, when new values were added. We investigated the issue, and found out that instead of one table this particular website was using two different database tables. This was an issue with the integrity of data, because the way it was designed and coded, both tables needed to be updated at the same time, which was not happening. After identifying the issue, we fixed it, by installing the website on the test server first. When customer was fully satisfied with the database update, the same changes were replicated on the live website. Due to wrong database design, had a chronic problem of multiple database connections, crashing the site. We successfully migrated the website to the new host.
